There are six frameworks or pathways of deflection, each of which addresses specific public health and public safety challenges faced by communities. The Pathways to Deflection Case Study Series provides an in-depth examination of each of these six pathways, including its origin story, how programs in that pathway work, and 10 critical elements for planning and implementing programs in that pathway. Each publication features case studies from five sites that are implementing programs in that pathway.
