This document focuses on proposed investments in the 18 National Drug Control Program agencies, but making progress requires collaboration among federal, state, local, and tribal communities across the country.  Although financial resources cannot solve this crisis entirely, it is hoped that this increased level of support enables the dedicated prevention, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction workforce to reach more Americans impacted by this epidemic and strengthens efforts to stop the flow of illicit drugs into American communities.
